We believe that kindness is the key to changing the world. It is the birthplace of peace, it illuminates our hearts and souls, it unites people who would otherwise remain strangers and it builds vibrant, safe communities. For all these reasons, and many more, we also believe that kindness should not be celebrated as random, but encouraged in a manner that inspires conscious choice and awareness both personally and globally. Dakbands are a call to action, a reminder, a way of expressing our understanding of the power of kindness to kindle hope and change. Happy dakking.

The Dakband project is thrilled to announce that all the participants of the Women As Career Coaches event (March 25, 2010), hosted by the Halton Industry Education Council, will receive dakbands! Elaine has been invited to give a brief presentation about the dakband project and to participate as a Career Coach.
